We are a group of concerned Orem residents. We want to know who can provide the best education for Orem’s children. There are lots more questions than answers at this point. We support the Orem Mayor and City Council in commissioning a Feasibility Study to answer these questions. Our purpose is to inform Orem citizens of many important issues surrounding Orem’s decision to remain within the Alpine Schoold District or separating from ASD to create a new Orem School District.  We encourage the study of relevant facts, not rumor or misinformation, in all facets that this decision should include:  financial, safety, educational, real estate portfolio asset management & maintenance, test scores that show students’ and schools’ performance, retention and recruitment of high-quality teachers, cost-saving measures to consider, neglectful behaviors that have occurred, etc.
